September, 2019 Lisa Jaremka (class of 2011) is awarded the Caryl Rusbult Close Relationships Early Career Award from the Relationship Researchers Interest Group of SPSP. She will receive her award and deliver a keynote address at the upcoming SPSP Close Relationships Preconference in New Orleans (February, 2020). Congratulations Lisa!! August, 2019 Tammy Afifi, Nancy Collins, and Kyle Rand (Rendever) are awarded National Institute on Aging (NIA) grant to test the feasibility of the Rendever virtual reality platform for increasing well being in older adults living in residential communities. August, 2019 Delancey Wu is awarded an SPSP Graduate Student Travel Award to attend the 2020 SPSP conference in New Orleans, where she will be speaking in her first symposium. March, 2016 Jeff Bowen is awarded an American Psychological Association (APA) Basic Psychological Science Research Grant for his dissertation project on mental construal and relationship maintenance processes. July, 2015 Jeff Bowen receives a Heritage Dissertation Grant Award from the Foundation for Personality and Social Psychology. The Foundation awards only 6 grants each year, so this is a fantastic accomplishment! Congratulations Jeff!!!
