Information for Undergraduate Students:
Undergraduate students are vital members of our research team. Each quarter we recruit numerous research assistants (RA) to assist in all aspect of our research. The availability of a position depends on the needs of the lab during a given quarter and the number of students who are already involved. If you are interested in an RA position, please read the description of the research we conduct and make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria listed below.
Research Overview and RA Duties: The research we conduct falls under the broad category of close relationships. Within this area, we are particularly interested in understanding romantic relationships and friendships. The RAs we hire are involved in all aspects of the research process including administering study materials and procedures to research subjects, entering data into the computer, coding video or audio tapes, creating online questionnaires and experiments, and conducting library research.

Eligibility Criteria:
Required
- Availability for at least 6 hours per week
- GPA of at least 3.0 over the past 3 quarters
- Strong attention to detail
- Mature, professional, and highly reliable
- Interested in studying close relationships
- Completion of the online Human Subjects Training module - click here for instructions.

Desired
- Willingness to commit to more than one quarter
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with SPSS or R
- Familiarity with Qualtrics
